We always try to have early salad mix, but this year we had our first salad on March 28! (Thanks to our hoop-house).
Yesterday, (March 30) I was able to cut enough for a pot-luck salad for 15. We have early lettuce mix, spinach, claytonia (miners lettuce) and mache (corn salad). I also included the leaves of our “winter onions” that have been growing here much longer than we have. Delicious!

Spring Lettuce

Spring is coming! The lettuce is happy and growing fast in the hoop-house. Onions, celery, and assorted lettuces are started as well.
Also, due to demand I have decided to add a half-share option which will be delivered weekly for $300.
